Trudge, trudge, trudge. Spock sighs to himself. It is a blessedly, wonderfully familiar sensation.

"No, Captain, I cannot tell you who won Federation Idol this year."

Trudge, trudge. Another sigh.

"Was it the Andorian? I bet it was the Andorian. That flute, man..."

Trudge, trudge, crunch, trudge. The ice is beginning to become smoother to walk over.

"I wonder if you can--"

"No. It is not physiologically possible."

Trudge. Stop. Silence, except the blowing wind and snow.

"I didn't even finish my sentence, Spock! You don't know what I--"

Turn, crunch, eyebrow.

"Captain. We have met."

Turn, trudge, trudge, trudge.
